EQUINE BEHAVIOR THE FOCUS AT HAWAII HORSE EXPO 2016

Horse behavior is as complex as human behavior and can be just as difficult to understand. National and international equine experts will gather at Hawaii Horse Expo 2016 to help answer questions such as “Why does my horse do that?”

Clinicians featured at the upcoming Hawaii Horse Expo 2016 have spent their lifetimes exploring equine behavior. This distinguished group includes Richard Winters, Robert Miller, DVM, Tammy Pate, Mark Fitch, DVM, Susan White, DVM, and Rick Lamb, PhD.  Expo topics include Understanding Equine Psychology, Solving Behavior Problems, Working with the Scared Horse versus the Disrespectful Horse, and How to Deal With the Difficult Horse.
Da Kine Devilish Eggs
Da Kine Devilish Eggs
12 hardboiled eggs, halved

4 Tbsp. mayonnaise

12 pitted black olives, diced

1 tsp apple cider vinegar

1 tsp dry mustard or 1 tsp curry powder or 1 tsp sriracha sauce

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp freshly ground pepper

¼ tsp celery salt

Our friend Sarah Sonognini does a clever version of deviled eggs that she calls “mini-breakfast.” Make the deviled eggs to your liking, then serve each one on a small square of garlic toast, topped with a generous slice of bacon. It helps to slice a flat end on the bottom of the cooked egg white so it sits evenly on the toast. Read More
